Figures from last season show that the number of Brits travelling to Austria last season went up by 5%.<\/p>\n

This has been partly as a result of the success of the new Ski Jewel area, which saw increases in visitors to Alpbach (+23%) \u00a0and Wildschonau (+17%).<\/p>\n

Stunning new restaurant in Solden<\/strong><\/p>\n

This year\u00a0S\u00f6lden is looking to improve its already great charms, with a stunning new mountain restaurant. \u00a0\u00a0Located at the top of the Gaislachkogel at 3048m, the innovative design will open in \u00a0at the start of the season.<\/p>\n

Cutting edge design<\/p><\/div>\n

With impressive modern architecture, the glass exterior has been created to project a transparent feeling making visitors feel up close and personal with the spectacular scenery of the \u04e6tztal mountains.<\/p>\n

The technical feat \u00a0of engineering also includes a link from the roof terrace to the Gaislachkogel mountain peak via a suspension bridge.<\/p>\n

The stylish high-end restaurant is seen as a gourmet experience, literally taking \u2018Alpine Cuisine\u2019 to new heights.<\/p>\n

Plus a house wine like no other…<\/strong><\/p>\n

A special highlight will be their signature wine \u2018Pino3000\u2019, a cross-border project bringing three top Pinot Noir producers from Austria, South Tyrol and Germany together to mature the wine in a special \u00a0cellar at the Gaislachkogel.<\/p>\n
