From December 2018, a new 10-person monocable gondola lift will connect the village of M\u00f6sl at Hochschwendberg with Action Mountain Penken<\/a> in Mayrhofen.<\/p>\n

A new D-Line generation lift from Doppelmayr, the M\u00f6slbahn will transport about 2000 skiers and snowboarders per hour to the heart of this great Austrian ski resort.<\/p>\n

M\u00f6slbahn construction started in April<\/strong><\/p>\n

Construction work began in April with excavation for the foundations and creation of the access roads.<\/p>\n

During May, there was a lot of progress. At the valley station, the walls and base were put in place, while at the intermediate station concreting were completed.<\/p>\n

Snow making pipes put down<\/strong><\/p>\n

The pipeline for a new artificial snow making system was also put down, with three excavators working on the slope.<\/p>\n

Work continued in June with more work on base and summit stations, with an electricity supply installed.<\/p>\n

Parts flown in by helicopter<\/strong><\/p>\n

On the new slope below the lift, excavators carefully removed the grass to cultivate and replant it afterwards.<\/p>\n

More work took place on the foundations for the pylons as well as laying more pipelines for the artificial snowmaking machines.<\/p>\n

The pylons have been put into place with the help of a helicopter.<\/p>\n

Progress is going well<\/strong><\/p>\n

The upper part of the piste is almost completely finished and a lot of progress has been made on the lower part.<\/p>\n

At the time of writing, the project is still progressing very well. Doppelmayr has done a lot of work on the M\u00f6slbahn Summit Station.<\/p>\n

At the bottom station, the concrete work for the ceiling has been completed and the assembly of the gondola station has been started.<\/p>\n
