The Vercland gondola that links the village via Samoens to the Grand Massif ski area<\/a> in France is being redeveloped and will open in December as an upgraded 10-seater gondola.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While the old \u2018egg\u2019 style bubbles will be missed, the new Doppelmayr lift will reduce the journey time from Vercland to Samoens<\/a> 1600 to just 7 minutes with a capacity of 2000 skier and snowboarders per hour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
