A successful return to the slopes was enjoyed by thousands of lucky skiers this summer in glacier resorts across the Alps. Indeed both Zermatt and Saas Fee<\/a> are still open for skiers<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And in just a few days\u2019 time slopes will re-open at Austria\u2019s Stubai and Solden<\/a> glaciers, with Tignes in France opening in October.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The summer provided a useful opportunity for ski resorts to trial and implement new measures on and off the slopes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So, this winter amongst other things, you can expect to see more organised ski lift queues with social distancing, reduced capacity on lifts, smaller ski school classes with staggered starting times and hand sanitizer widely available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
