Last week tickets went on sale<\/a> for the World Ski Championships in 2023. This bi-annual event will be hosted jointly by M\u00e9ribel<\/a> and Courchevel<\/a> in France\u2019s Les 3 Vall\u00e9es<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this blog post, we look at some of the key numbers<\/strong> about these World Championships:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2<\/strong> \u2013 The Ski World Championships happen every two years<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3<\/strong> \u2013 The World Championships have been held in France three times before: 1937 and 1962 in Chamonix<\/a> and 2009 in Val d’Is\u00e8re<\/p>\n\n\n\n

6<\/strong> \u2013 Athletes compete in six disciplines: Downhill, Super-G, Giant Slalom, Slalom, Combined and Parallel Slalom<\/p>\n\n\n\n

12<\/strong> \u2013 The event covers 12 days from 06 February 2023 through to 19February 2023<\/p>\n\n\n\n

50<\/strong> \u2013 Tickets to watch the racing are available from just \u20ac50<\/p>\n\n\n\n

75<\/strong> \u2013 Around 600 competitors are expected to take part from 75 different countries<\/p>\n\n\n\n

20,000<\/strong> \u2013 It won\u2019t just be the racers contributing to the atmosphere, twenty thousand spectators are expected to attend the event<\/p>\n\n\n
