The Ice Q – an amazing new restaurant in Solden, Austria<\/a> – has caught our eye.<\/p>\n

The restaurant opens next month on the Gaislachkogl – the main ski mountain in the resort.<\/p>\n

Using local materials and some stunning architectural skills , this stunning new building looks like the place to have lunch in the Alps this winter.<\/p>\n

At 3048m above sea level, construction of the new Ice-Q was started in the summer of 2013. \u00a0 The restaurant has 94 seats inside and 34 seats outside on the terrace.<\/p>\n

The entire building uses glass to offer amazing views and gives the impression it could be transparent, yet still fits perfectly into its natural surroundings.<\/p>\n

Solden has already opened for this season, having hosted the first\u00a0ski Alpine World Cup race\u00a0of the season at the end of October.<\/p>\n
