While you can explore Les 3 Vallees \u2013 the world\u2019s largest ski area \u2013 we look at the Top 5 Pistes to enjoy on your ski holiday in Courchevel.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Jean Blanc<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>While this winter the focus will be on the new \u2018L\u2019\u00c9clipse\u2019 piste as it prepares to host the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.chaletline.co.uk\/blog\/2022\/07\/7-facts-about-the-courchevel-meribel-2023-world-ski-championships\/\">Courchevel-M\u00e9ribel 2023 FIS Alpine World Ski Championships<\/a>, the neighbouring Jean Blanc slope is one not to miss.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s a classic black run, with a 680m vertical drop, which should only be tackled by the best skiers. Its north-facing aspect mean that it retains excellent snow conditions. The piste overlooks the \u2018secret\u2019 Vall\u00e9e des Avals and beyond it lies the Vanoise National Park.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Find it by taking the Chapelets chairlift to enjoy a long descent over a 450m elevation drop without a single ski lift in sight. At this point they were all given names, with the exception of the \u2018M\u2019, which actually has two options of either a black or a red run from the top of Vizelle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Courchevel: Piste M\" width=\"510\" height=\"287\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/cklK1A8JOsw?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Creux Noirs <\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Starting from 2700m, this is not technically a piste, but a <a href=\"https:\/\/fatmap.com\/discover\/route\/france\/savoie\/freeride-skiing\/creux-noirs-petite-saulire\/17663\">special freeride zone<\/a> accessed after a short 100m hike or skin to the peak of the Creux Noirs.
