This weekend, the World Ski Awards in Kitzbuhel saw the best resorts, hotels and chalets across twenty different countries.<\/p>\n

Val Thorens in France<\/a> was named as the Best Ski Resort, which took not only the title of best resort in France, but best ski resort in the world.<\/p>\n

Val Thorens was voted ‘Best Ski Resort in the World’<\/p><\/div>\n

The main competitors for this award were Deer Valley in the States and Lake Louise in Canada.<\/p>\n

Phenomenal response from voters<\/strong><\/p>\n

The awards were voted on by travel professionals and skiers from around the planet. Sion Rapson, MD of the World Ski Awards<\/a>, described the reaction to their inaugural event as ‘phenomenal’.<\/p>\n
