While there are still plenty of ski areas still open for this winter (such as Val Thorens<\/a> and Val d\u2019 ‘Is\u00e8re<\/a>) we do get it\u2026you love skiing and you don\u2019t want to stop for summer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The good news is that there will be three French ski resorts open for skiing to see you though until next winter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And heavy snowfall at high altitude this winter means that the glaciers look in good condition for summer skiing through to July.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Let\u2019s look at which resorts are open this summer\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Les 2 Alpes<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Technically, Les 2 Alpes<\/a> doesn\u2019t actually close as the official summer skiing season starts from 29 April, the day after the official end to the 2024\/25 winter season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But as the lift close lower down the mountain close, the T-bars on the Mont-de-Lans glacier will keep turning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As well as offering skiing up to 3600m on 90 hectares of marked slopes, Les 2 Alpes has a fantastic snow park. Most of the skiers will be race training, but the public are able to ski too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lift tickets cost \u20ac45 per day and skiing continues in Les 2 Alpes up to 07 July.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Val d’Is\u00e8re<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Val d’Is\u00e8re is planning to be the second French ski resort to open for the summer on 08 June.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Skiing on the Pissaillas glacier between 2725m and 3300m will offer 7 runs, with four reserved for race teams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lift tickets cost \u20ac34 per day and the area will stay open until 05 July.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tignes<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Tignes<\/a> will have an inter-season break before skiing starts again on the Grande Motte glacier from 17 June.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The skiable area is sizable with 20km of slopes from 2724m to 3456m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The lift pass costs \u20ac47 per day and the ski area will stay open until 21 July.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
