La Plagne has announced details of a unique open-air gondola taking visitors to the highest point in resort.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Two cable cars nicknamed \u2018L\u2019Acrobate\u2019 and \u2018La Funambule\u2019 (a tightrope walker), will form the new \u2018A\u00c9ROLIVE\u2019 experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Passengers will be roped in<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The cabins have no walls, so passengers will be roped into the cabin on the ride up from Roche de Mio at 2739m to the top station at 3080m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La Plagne<\/a> promises “an exceptional unobstructed panoramic view” for the new lift, which was designed by La Plagne and developed by the manufacturer POMA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Passengers have been advised to ensure their phones and cameras are tied to them with straps too!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From \u20ac49 per person<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The ride will last 30 minutes and cost \u20ac49 per person or per person \u20ac269 for a private booking for up to 6 people. It will open for business from Monday 08 July.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
