This year’s Tour de France is unique. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It will be first edition of the race that does not visit Paris – currently preoccupied with the preparations for the 2024 Summer Olympics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Additionally, for the first time the ‘Grand Depart’ will take place in Italy, with the race passing through three other countries (San Marino, Monaco and France) en route to the final stage in Nice. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Just one stage in the Alps<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This unique year also sees only one stage going through the Alps – on Tuesday 02 July. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Stage 4 will pass through the Italian ski resorts of Sestriere<\/a> and Claviere<\/a>, continuing through the Via Lattea (Milky Way<\/a>) to Montgenevre<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The riders will then move on via Briancon, through Serre Chevalier<\/a>, then via the Col du Galibier to Valloire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
