The new Transarc lift in Les Arcs will open this winter in December 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The lift links Arc 1800<\/a> to the higher slopes, arriving at 2544m. This project<\/a> started over a year ago. The new gondola will have 138 spacious ten-person cabins that will go faster than before, reducing the journey time to 13 minutes from 20 minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the top, visitors can enjoy a 360\u00b0 panoramic view and at the mid-station, a new mineral gallery will exhibit beautiful specimens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Other improvements include the layout of the reception area and the installation of an ultra-modern escalator for easier access to the Transarc from Arc 1800.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Open in summer as well<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The lift was already open this summer, giving visitors the chance to Mountain Karting, a fun activity for the whole family, from the mid-station and an exciting descent right back down to Arc 1800.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mountain bikers can access to La Tranks and Yellow Stone VTT routes from the top, and hikers can access all the trails opens in the Arc 2000 sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
