It has the advantage of its high altitude, which means it is normally the first French ski resort to open and last to close.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The 2025 series of Freeride World Tour 2025 will start in Baqueira Beret in Spain a week beforehand from 18-23 January before coming to Val Thorens. It will then move on to Canada, Georgia and Austria with the season final taking place in Verbier, Switzerland, on the famous Bec des Rosses face from 22-30 March.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Freeride World Tour was founded in 2008 and is now essential watching for extreme sports fans.
