It\u2019s going to be significantly quicker, with the 10-person cabins taking just 6 minutes 30 seconds to reach the top at 2790m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It will give excellent access to the Pisaillas glacier from the Fornet sector, plus the new lift has benefits for the ecology as well, as 32 of the previous pylons were dismantled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Nouvelle t\u00e9l\u00e9cabine du Vallon \u00e0 Val d&#039;Is\u00e8re\" width=\"510\" height=\"287\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/uu-f_kTP7Cs?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>La Folie Douce redesigned<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Amazingly, it\u2019s now 30 years since La Folie Douce opened in Val d&#8217;Is\u00e8re.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This iconic venue was the first Folie Douce to open in the Alps, and for its anniversary year, it will be launching a complete redesign of its \u2018La Fruitiere\u2019 restaurant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition, from\u00a0January 2026,\u00a0La Petite Cuisine\u00a0\u2013 their gourmet-quality, canteen-style restaurant &#8211; will reopen with a completely redesigned concept.
