{"id":437,"date":"2014-07-03T13:02:12","date_gmt":"2014-07-03T13:02:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.chaletline.co.uk\/blog\/?p=437"},"modified":"2014-07-03T13:04:20","modified_gmt":"2014-07-03T13:04:20","slug":"new-pardatschgrat-lift-for-ischgl-austria","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/chaletline.co.uk\/blog\/2014\/07\/new-pardatschgrat-lift-for-ischgl-austria\/","title":{"rendered":"New Pardatschgrat Lift For Ischgl, Austria"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Already known as one of the best ski resorts in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.chaletline.co.uk\/austria\">Austria<\/a>, especially for its end of season concert, Ischgl is\u00a0improving its lift system again for the new winter season 2014\/15.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone  wp-image-438\" src=\"http:\/\/www.chaletline.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/gondel_3s.jpeg\" alt=\"new ischgl gondola\" width=\"269\" height=\"238\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>New Pardatschgratbahn<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The original lift was built in 1990 in two sections with a mid-station, but as the resort of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.chaletline.co.uk\/ischgl\">Ischgl<\/a>\u00a0has grown a more modern lift has become needed.<\/p>\n<p>Construction of the new 3-S\u00a0Pardatschgrat started in the summer of 2013 and is due to open this winter. \u00a0It will carry 2800 passengers per hour and take 9.4 minutes to reach the top.<\/p>\n<p>The new lift will be a &#8216;wind stable, tricable gondola&#8217;. \u00a0This video will give you an idea of how it will look:<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/jxn3OMqvsz0?rel=0\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><strong>World Record height difference<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The new Pardatschgratbahn will set a new world record as the biggest height difference for a tricable cable car &#8211; 1251 m.<\/p>\n<p>The new top station has been specially designed to allow for any possible subsidence.
