The Aosta Valley already has some great ski resorts and lifts, but from\u00a0June 23 the famous Italian ski resort of\u00a0Courmayeur<\/a>\u00a0will be opening the new Skyway Mont Blanc cable car.<\/p>\n

This new lift is a billed as a ‘masterpiece of extreme engineering’ and it’s hard to disagree that it will offer a memorable travel experience to the ‘Roof of Europe’.<\/p>\n

Modern and circular<\/strong><\/p>\n

The new cable car is made glass and steel, and equipped with extremely modern circular, transparent cabins.<\/p>\n

\"The<\/a><\/p>\n

Each will go through one complete rotation on each trip and will ensure a 360-degree view of the journey.<\/p>\n

\"Punta<\/a><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Each of the three lift stations on the journey are equipped with bars, dining facilities and locations for screenings and conferences.<\/p>\n

And at the final stop – Punta Helbronner (3463 m) – a 14m diameter terrace offers breathtaking views of Mont Blanc.<\/p>\n

Gourmet destination<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Skyway is billed as not just a lift, but a unique gourmet destination.<\/p>\n

At the Pavillion du Mont Fr\u00e9ty (2173 m) stop, there is a cellar with the highest sparkling wine production laboratory in Europe – every year it will produce one hundred of its own exclusive magnum bottles.<\/p>\n

Lovers of traditional Italian cuisine can enjoy the Bellevue restaurant at Pavillion du Mont Fr\u00e9ty, which serves ‘zero-mile’ dishes produced from local recipes.<\/p>\n

Also available is the Bistrot des Glaciers at Punta Helbronner, tucked away in the mountains of Europe, but offering a gourmet snacks, while viewing the Mont Blanc massif.<\/p>\n
