Three of the largest ski areas in the world – Les 3 Vallees<\/a>, the Espace Killy<\/a> and the Paradiski <\/a>region have joined forces to offer one combined lift pass.<\/p>\n

Alpine Legends lift pass<\/strong><\/p>\n

In an impressive feat of cross-resort cooperation, from this winter it will be possible to buy a\u00a0single\u00a0lift pass that covers an immense 1325km of pistes!<\/p>\n

In total, it will be possible to access 1300 pistes, 391 ski lifts, as well as five glaciers, all located in the Tarentaise valley in the Savoie departement\u00a0<\/em>of France.<\/p>\n

15-20% more expensive than existing passes<\/strong><\/p>\n

The 6-day lift pass will cost \u20ac340 – approximately \u00a3250.<\/p>\n

To put that into context a 6 day pass for the coming season for Paradiski is \u20ac291<\/a> and \u20ac289 for Les 3 Vallees is \u20ac289<\/a>. The Espace Killy pass price was \u20ac260 last winter<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Questionable value<\/strong><\/p>\n

Apart from the convenience, it’s hard to see how the new lift ticket offers any real advantage over buying day passes.<\/p>\n

A one day Les 3 Vallees pass is the most expensive at \u20ac59, while a day pass in Les Arcs is \u20ac57. Multiply that by six and you end up with a lift pass around the same price as the ‘Alpine Legends’ pass.<\/p>\n

You won’t have to queue though and you will get to access superb resorts including Meribel, Courchevel, La Tania, Val Thorens, Les Menuires, La Plagne, Les Arcs, Vallandry, Peisey, Tignes and Val d’Isere.<\/p>\n
