Breckenridge Ski Resort has announced that due to great snow conditions they will extend the resort’s ski season by an extra week.
The season will now run through to Sunday 27 April. Three of the resort’s peaks will open in the extra week: Peaks 6, 7 and 8.
In previous years’ extensions, only Peak 8 was open. This year guests will be able to try Breck’s newest terrain, Peak 6, which only opened this winter.

Excellent snow conditions
In January, Breckenridge was the snowiest resort in the United States, and in total this season the resort has had over 8.5m of snow.
“It’s been such an amazing season for snowfall in Breck that even with a month and a half to go, we are confident that we will be able to offer terrific conditions in the extended week,” said Pat Campbell, COO at Breckenridge Ski Resort.
