Most people tend to think of Africa as a continent of deserts, but you can ski in several places in the continent.
The Atlas Mountains in Morocco are a possibility, but Tiffindell, on Ben McDhui in South Africa is the highest point in the country at 3001 metres above sea level.
High slopes + great snow cannons = snow!
Snow cannons and well-positioned slopes mean that the resort – located at 2720m – can guarantee snow for 100 days each year.

The snow cannons can create up to 20cm of fresh snow in a day, and the resort can accommodate up to 150 guests at a time.
