It’s a beautiful morning – the sun is out, the skies are blue and 40cm of fresh powder fell last night…but the lifts aren’t open yet!
How frustrating is it that you can’t rush out and ski all the fresh powder that’s out there…!
But there’s good reason – pisteurs have to make the ski resort safe as their first priority, setting off avalanches via manual and automatic blasting.
