While some resorts are scaling back, in Grindelwald, Switzerland, the new Eiger Express will open in December 2020.
This will be the second gondola lift of the V-Cableway Project that will take guests from the Grindelwald terminal to the Eiger Glacier station in just 15 minutes.
47 minutes faster to the Jungfraujoch
It means that visitors will be able to reach the Jungfraujoch (3454m) a full 47 minutes faster than before and enjoy attractions such as the Ice Palace, Alpine Sensation and Snow Park.
The state of the art 26-seat cabins will whisk guests close to the famous north face of the Eiger.
