Enjoy the Kitzsteinhorn Glacier at Kaprun

As we count down the weeks until the ski season, up on the Kitzsteinhorn Glacier – at 2900m above sea level – they are already enjoying the snow.

The Snowpark Kitzsteinhorn is famous around the world for its kickers, rails and boxes and Austria’s biggest super-pipe.

Not just for ‘jibbers’

The Snowpark Kitzsteinhorn is the ultimate freestyle playground in Austria, but Kaprun and the Kitzsteinhorn Glacier is not just for the jibbers and the kids.

Beginners can start off on the gentle nursery slopes next to the Kaprun village centre before moving up to the blue runs of the Maiskogel and the Kitzsteinhorn Glacier.

There’s a huge choice of terrain too for intermediates and the experts can enjoy the glacier bowl and meaty moguls.

The Power of Zehn: only €10 for kids on Saturdays

This winter the Kitzsteinhorn will be offering the “The Power of Zehn”.  This is a chance every Saturday, for children aged 6 to 18 (born 1995 to 2007) can grab a day pass for only 10 euros.
