Contrary to the lyrics of ‘Do They Know It’s Christmas?’, it does snow in Africa more than you might expect, but when it does it can produce some incredible images.
These surreal shots of elephants were taken last weekend in the Western Cape in South Africa, where Kitty Viljoen was based in the Sneeuberg range:
She also took these amazing photos of giraffes in snow in the Karoo region, which is more typically a ‘semi-desert’ area.
