Let’s look at what’s new for this winter:

A new red run at Nyon

The remodelling of the red Aigle run from the summit of Nyon at 2019m down to Nyon plateau at 1413m began last year and will be completed for winter 2020/2021. The run will be three times wider with 2km of skiing on offer.

New escalator access

A new covered escalator will take skiers and pedestrians from the car park to the departure point of the Nyon cable car.

Snowshoeing by night

Take a two hour snowshoe walk and gaze at the stars. Walkers can experience the mountains from a new angle. Night-time brings you closer to the magic of the mountains, just let your guide reveal all the secrets of the Milky Way.

Skiing with Eagles

You can try out this exclusive activity on the Nyon Plateau inside a restaurant, on the terrace and on the slopes. Admire these exceptional birds and find out how they live – it’s a unique chance to try falconry on skis!

New PV panels

Electricity is always the biggest energy spend in a ski resort. The lift company SERMA is focussing on  renewable energy, particularly solar. An array of 41m² of photovoltaic panels are currently being installed on the Proclou chairlift. They are forecast to produce 9000 kWh per year and power the entire lift.

Wellness Week

From Monday 08 to Friday 12 March 2021, ‘Wellness Week’ in Morzine means massage workshops, yoga, reflexology, aromatherapy and more. Recharge your batteries for very little.
