Last month Val Thorens unveiled ‘Caron 3200’, a new state-of-the-art complex perched at 3200m at the top of the Cime de Caron – the second highest point in Les 3 Vallées.
The new complex marks the completion of the summit’s development, offering visitors what the resort describes as ‘an unparalleled blend of gastronomy, relaxation, and panoramic vistas’.

Breathtaking views
The ‘Caron 3200’ building has been designed in a modern architectural style, featuring expansive glass facades and breathtaking 360-degree views of the Alps.
It includes a restaurant that can seat up to 130 diners, a wine bar, and a panoramic rooftop terrace. There’s also a multifunctional space specially created for events and seminars.

Access via Orelle (the fourth valley)
The development has been created with an emphasis on sustainability. It was constructed using eco-friendly materials and operates on renewable energy sources.
While the Cime Caron cable car remains out of service this winter (after a pre-season accident), it’s possible to access Caron 3200 via the Orelle-Cime Caron lift, which opened in 2023.
