Swim and sauna your way to après bliss in the stylish spa – and for families, the Birba Kids’ Club for little ones aged 3-10 is on hand to make those off-slope hours hassle-free. Location-wise, it's around 10 minutes' walk to the lifts and resort centre, and there’s a free ski bus if you’d prefer to save the legs for the slopes.
There’s a choice of standard rooms in the original part of the hotel, or you can splash out on a superior one in the modern annexe to get a little more space. Whatever you pick, there’s a warm feel, with plush, red carpets and plenty of natural wood. And there’s also a lounge and bar area decked out with sofas in the main building, where you can swap ski stories with a drink in hand.
When it comes to food, you’ll start the day with a continental buffet breakfast in the hotel restaurant. Then later on, to tuck into tasty local dishes at dinner time, with tempting salad and dessert buffets to bookend the meal.
