Andorra is sometimes overlooked for the more high-profile areas in the French Alps, but it’s actually one of our favourite destinations. Tucked into the Pyrenees between France and Spain, Andorra’s picturesque location is just the beginning and it’s a really exciting place for a ski chalet holiday. Why?
Great après scene, with some excellent bars and clubs
Award-winning ski schools, including British ones
Duty free status, so the shopping is amazing
Lift systems and accommodation recently upgraded
Great skiing opportunities
There are two main areas.
Vallnord: the smaller of the two, comprising Arinsal, Ordino Arcalis and Paul, with a total of 93kms of pistes.
Grandvalira: with 210 km of pistes Grandvalira encompasses Soldeu, Encamp, El Tartar, Canillo, Grau Roig and Pas de la Casa.
Chaletline offers some fantastic options in both Vallnord and Grandvalira so Andorra is good to go!

Les 3 Vallees
One of the best things about a ski chalet holiday in France is that there really is something for everyone. For families there are some wonderful options that offer great facilities for novices, and if you’re a dedicated powder hound you’ll have thrills a minute without having to go far.
We offer a huge range of choices in France, so whatever the resort you decide on, you won’t be disappointed.
Who loves Italy? We do! Along with some of the most stunning scenery you’ll ever see, Italy is growing in popularity as a great value place for a ski chalet holiday. At Chaletline we feature resorts that set you right in the heart of the action of two of the country’s top ski areas:
The Milky Way, which has 400 km of pistes
The mighty Dolomiti Super Ski, with more than 1200 km of pistes
While its reputation for reasonably priced chalet holidays is well deserved, so is its renown for high quality skiing, great accommodation and a genuinely traditional ambience that’s not overshadowed by the touristic feel of some other destinations. So whether you’re looking for the diverse skiing of a resort like Cervinia or the laid back glamour of somewhere like Courmayeur, Italy delivers in every way.
The team at Chaletline know and love Austria well, and there’s a lot to love. Picture perfect scenery, lovely Alpine village charm, an exciting après scene and, of course, top-notch opportunities out on the pistes guarantee that Austria is a perennial favourite. When you add in its very good value for money and impressive facilities, Austria serves you up with a winner every time.

One of the most iconic destinations in Europe, Switzerland is famous around the world for not only its stunning natural beauty, but also for its magnificent opportunities for skiing. Offering the glitz and glamour of places like celebrity favourite Verbier, or the imposing drama of Zermatt (also popular with the in-crowd) in the shadow of the epic Matterhorn, Switzerland’s high-altitude resorts and vast ski areas are everything you could want, and more.
We feature chalet holidays in four of the most famous resorts in Switzerland:
From here you’ll be able to explore the expansive pistes of the Four Valleys (around Verbier and Nendaz) and the Matterhorn Ski Paradise (from Zermatt and Saas Fee). Saas Fee is particularly popular for its near year-round snow and glacier skiing. With pistes to cater for everyone from beginners and families to hard-nosed daredevils, Swiss resorts are also known for their impressive efficiency.
USA and Canada
While it’s not hard to tell how much we love Europe, Chaletline is also proud to feature some fantastic resorts further afield in Canada and the USA. We’ve selected some of the most legendary resorts to feature in our portfolio and, whatever your tastes, we can guarantee your once in a lifetime holiday won’t disappoint.
The resorts of Colorado, in North America, are legendary and some of them are genuine bucket-list destinations for avid skiers. We feature four of the best and we can’t wait to get you there!
Breckenridge: high-altitudes (3500m) and a vibrant, historic atmosphere
Winter Park: close to Denver and great for powder hunters
Aspen: a huge area and something for everyone
Vail: one of the largest ski areas in the USA, say no more!
Canada has a reputation as a fun and friendly place to come for a winter holiday. With reliable snow conditions, fabulous service (always with that famous Canadian smile) and some much-loved resorts, we highly recommend it!
We feature two of the best resorts in British Columbia:
Whistler: more than 200 pistes over two mountains and ready for fun!
Banff: spectacular wilderness views and three linked mountains
Lapland is a winter wonderland and a perfect destination for skiing and meeting Santa Claus. Besides skiing, visitors can also participate in a range of winter activities such as snowmobiling, snowshoeing, and husky sledding. Furthermore, Lapland is home to Santa Claus Village, where visitors can meet Santa and his reindeers, experience the magical atmosphere, and shop for Christmas souvenirs.
