WEsayA magical winter wonderland situated 170 km above the Arctic Circle is a must for winter enthusiasts and those seeking Santa!
As Father Christmas' 'official' resort, Levi attracts visitors from all corners of the globe, seeking extraordinary experiences that only Lapland can offer.
Off-slope activities are many and varied. Wrapped up snug in the back of a husky sled or racing along frozen expanses by snowmobile - you’ll experience activities here you simply won’t find elsewhere on other ski holidays. No surprise then that, for most people, skiing is definitely not the only thing on the holiday agenda.
The nightlife is just as magical with many an entrance way adorned with beautiful ice sculptures and a choice of over 30 restaurants.
Like the magical midwinter skies, the village centre offers a unique charm, its streets lined with attractively lit restaurants and many an entrance way adorned with beautiful ice sculptures. Combine all this with a snowsure climate, pleasantly crowd-free slopes and stunning arctic scenery, and you can see why most visitors leave promising themselves they’ll be back for more before too long.
For skiers, Levi is an excellent resort for those starting out with the majority of its 45 runs being particularly suited to beginners and improvers. Levi is also particularly suited to intermediates with an array of blues and reds to entertain.
The advanced skier should take a guide and hed up to the most challenging terrain that the mountain has to offer, including the illuminated World Cup run. Levi has held several world cup events and Finland continues to produce some of the world's top riders.
