Chalet Motxo (El Tarter)
rating
Catered Chalet - Sleeps 24 Chalet ID: 3179

WEsay
The Motxo is great for groups of all ages and sizes and makes a brilliant, sociable chalet. It is warm and cozy and has a lovely rustic feel, generally a good value for money chalet.

Guests come back to the Motxo (pronounced mot-show) year after year because of its warm and homely appeal. Like the neighbouring Chalet Hotel Casale, it's constructed from local stone and wood which gives it a really traditional mountain chalet feel, as does the grandfather clock and comfy leather sofas in the small lounge area.

It's a really spacious chalet too, with oodles of natural light throughout, high ceilings with chunky wooden beams and nicely sized bedrooms, all with plenty of storage.

You'll find quaint touches all around the chalet, like the ornate mountain flower murals and equally ornate old cast iron radiators, all of which add a classic continental feel.

Each bedroom has ensuite facilities and some of them also have a balcony with far-reaching views across the resort and slopes.

Get more from the mountain with our exclusive Mountain Expert service -

Anyone over 12 years of age and a good blue or red run skier or snowboarder, will benefit from free guiding and coaching throughout the week from fully qualified ski and board instructors with our Mountain Expert service. All children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian when taking part in these sessions.

Designed for confident blue and red-run skiers and snowboarders, they'll show you around the mountain on free guiding sessions, and even offer free coaching sessions to help you become a more confident skier or snowboarder.

There are at least three sessions a week and we guarantee each guest at least two sessions a week. Your hosts will explain how it works when you get there, and sessions can be held in the mornings or afternoons.

ROOM DESCRIPTIONS

The chalet sleeps up to 24 people in 11 large, light and simply furnished rooms. Most rooms are twins but there are two triples and each has its own ensuite with a shower and wc. You'll also find luxurious TEMPLESPA toiletries in each bathroom.

Local tourist taxes are payable by you when you check out of Chalet Motxo. The charge is €1.61 per person per night (correct as of February 2025 and for those over 16yrs old).

Children under 13 can receive a discount when they share a room with at least two adults
