Hotel Alpenrose opened its doors in 1881 and has been home to the Binder family since. Its relaxed atmosphere, great service and highly rated cuisine see guests return year after year to this charming family-run hotel.
Set on its own terrace the hotel enjoys wonderful views of the Lauterbrunnen Valley. The hotel occupies a quiet position, approximately 8 minutes’ walk below Wengen village centre. The hotel offers a small shuttle bus to and from the train station and cable cars where all Hotel Alpenrose guests are able to store their equipment for free.
Once a week a farmers buffet is served instead of the served evening meals and the varied buffet breakfast ensures plenty of choice for everyone. The charming interior, including cosy lounge and bar are beautifully furnished in an Alpine style.
