The Savoia has been one of Madonna di Campiglio’s top hotels since 1886, so they know a thing or two about making your stay special. First up is the service, with friendly local staff on hand to get you settled from day one. Then to ramp up the holiday feels, you’ve got a swish spa and food that’s bound to put a smile on your face.
The location’s on point too. In the morning, pop down to the boot room to pick up your gear before walking a couple of minutes to get to the gondola. Then after a day of slope swooshing, you’ve got all the action in the centre of the village on your doorstep.
Back at the hotel, there’s a traditional feel from top to bottom, with plenty of wood and tartan-patterned carpets. The hub of the hotel is the lounge bar, where there’s live music most nights, so get comfy in a fireside armchair and listen along with a drink in hand.
And to wrap up the day, there’s four courses of Italian cooking done to a T. We’re talking creamy carbonara and tender meat that melts in the mouth - and of course, there's a top-notch wine list too.
