Inside the restaurant, you’ll find a warm welcome from our friendly staff. Whether you go for a full English or continental breakfast, our highly experienced team will set you up for the day. And when you return from the slopes, they are on hand with afternoon tea, loaded with cakes, juices and assorted teas to help you refuel.

To round off your day on the slopes, relax with a delicious evening dinner, accompanied with our specially selected house wine, included with your meal. A high tea is also available for children 12 years and under.

Small and large group tables are available and guarantee a lively, fun atmosphere.

One evening a week dinner is not served in the chalet hotel allowing you the opportunity to dine out at one of the excellent local restaurants.

All our childcare staff are professional and hold either a DCE, NNEB, NVQ or equivalent qualification or have at least 2 years relevant experience. Due to the popularity of our children's clubs, pre-booking childcare is essential at the time of booking.

When you stay at L'Ecrin, childcare can be provided for kids from 4 months up to 12 years old. Childcare must be booked before you arrive in resort and is at an additional charge.

Our chalet hotel has in-house crèches as well as ski school pick up and drop off every day if they're booked into lessons. It’s a great way to let the whole family hit the slopes, and gives parents some extra time on the slopes each day.

Baby Club (4-11 months) : Our Baby Club is warm, homely and secure, with keyworkers who follow your little one’s routine so you can relax and enjoy your holiday.

Mini Club (3-5 years) : From snowmen and sledging to crafts and games, our Mini Club is packed with fun. For the older 4-5 year olds, they can be booked into half day ski school followed by action-filled afternoons with our nannies.

Kidz Club (6-12 years) : Our Kidz Club is full of snowy fun. From ski school drop-offs to afternoons packed with sledging, games, treasure hunts and more. It’s action all the way for 6 - 12 year olds.

Built from timber in the traditional Savoie style, our property in Tignes Val Claret oozes charm and tradition with its alpine interior, spa and swimming pool.

At the heart of this inviting chalet hotel lies a large lounge with local wood panelling and comfy sofas around an open fireplace. Perfect for socialising or relaxing after a day on the pistes.

Enjoy sleeping in cosy bedrooms, with embroidered fabrics, carved wood furnishings and flat screen TVs in the twins, doubles, interconnecting and family rooms. Plus many of our guest rooms have balconies.

L'Ecrin has the cosiness of a ski chalet with the facilities and service of a hotel. Think 3-course dinners with wine, hearty breakfasts, afternoon cakes as well as an indoor swimming pool and sink into soft sofas around a roaring fire.

The traditional alpine styling continues into the cosy bar and lounge at this chalet hotel. The warm charm of this spacious bar is a great place to gather with friends and fellow skiers to socialise.

While tucked away around the corner is a comfy lounge with a roaring open fireplace, sofas with plump cushions and snug armchairs. The ultimate chill-out spot after a hard day on the slopes.

Hotel Pool ; Anyone who has taken winter sports holidays before will tell you that a swimming pool back at your hotel is a real treat. After a day on the slopes, being able to just pop downstairs to take a dip in the private heated pool is a welcome indulgence. The pool is good size, plenty big enough to enjoy a few leisurely lengths to stretch out tired muscles or for a bit of après ski fun with the kids.

Room amenities include:

Baby cots & Fold beds : Travel cots for infants under 2 years. Extra cot/fold beds for 12 years and under in selected room types. Please note that the extra beds are only suitable for people with a maximum weight of 80kgs.

Beds & linen : Twin beds are pushed together, they can be separated. All beds have synthetic duvets and pillows, double linen for twin beds is available on request. Cot linen is provided.

Door locks : Entrance to guest rooms is accessed using a key.

Balcony : Many guest rooms have a balcony. Some are mountain facing. Balcony door handles turn and lock.

Electricity supply : 2-pin sockets providing 220V.

Hairdryer : A hairdryer is available in all guest rooms, fixed in the bathroom.

Housekeeping : Guest rooms are cleaned daily except chalet staff day off with towels changed mid-week.

Room allocation : Guest rooms are allocated by the operators Head Office at the time of booking. Rooms cannot be guaranteed but all requests will be accommodated, where possible, supplements or holding fees may apply.
