Penthouse Umka is one of 12 brand new suites within the Bear Resort in Arc 1950. We're absolutely thrilled with these independent chalet apartments which combine the intimacy of the award winning chalet service and the luxury of amenities within a larger hotel. Bear Resort offers a spacious common lounge and bar, proper size pool complex with sauna, steam room, jacuzzi and massage suites, gym, cinema, kids' playroom and concierge ski room with rental shop.
Penthouse Umka is on the seventh floor with direct access to the village just down the hall. This four bedroom property is split across two floors, providing unique accommodation for 7 guests in en suite bedrooms.
The suite is entirely independent with open plan living / dining area and balcony overlooking the piste and providing spectacular views. Of course there is surround sound TV, Wifi, flat sceen TV's in the bedrooms and a dedicated chalet host.
This host will provide a cooked breakfast, afternoon tea, canapes on the first and last evening, and a 3 course evening meal on 6 nights, followed by cheese board and coffee and served with a choice of red and white wine.
The suites share the same building as Bear Lodge, strung along the side of the Baptiste Giabiconi blue piste and opposite the Marmottes and Bois de L'Ours chairlifts. You can glide away from the concierge managed ski room and rental shop or stroll across the piste to the magical traffic free village of Arcs 1950. An extraordinary high altitude intersection of pistes and forty charismatic shops, cafe, bars and restaurants.
They provide their own in-house ski hire service for guests staying in Bear Resort. Pre-booked equipment is fitted in their own ski shop and technicians are on hand to ensure complete satisfaction.
