Exclusively run by the Ski operator's own team in Val d’Isère, at Hotel La Tovière style and luxury are combined with our professional ski guiding service and exceptional hospitality to ensure a truly memorable ski holiday.
La Tovière is a wonderful example of craftsmanship and design, created with natural textures of aged wood and local stone. With a backdrop of snowy trees and towering rock faces, the hotel seamlessly complements its surroundings right opposite the slopes of La Daille.
The funicular and La Daille gondola are just across the road from the hotel for high-speed access into the heart of the world-class Val d’Isère-Tignes ski area.
The lower ground floor of the hotel is dedicated to wellness. Here you will find an indoor swimming pool, sauna, hot tub, steam room and treatment rooms with TEMPLESPA products – essential if you’re making the most of the 300km ski area.
With 23 bedrooms and 6 suites, the well-appointed bedrooms are decorated in warm and relaxing tones, while deep mattresses, fluffy throws and luxurious furnishings ensure a very relaxing sleep for all.
After the slopes close for the day, the bar and lounge make the perfect setting to chat about your day over an expertly mixed cocktail or a well-earned local beer.
The lively resort centre of Val d’Isère is a short bus or taxi ride away, or a crisp 10 to 15-minute (flat) walk.

Anyone over 12 years of age and a good blue or red run skier or snowboarder, our Mountain Experts will guide you around the slopes, whilst making you a more confident skier or snowboarder at the same time. All children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian when taking part in these sessions.
Each Mountain Expert session lasts around 2 hours, and we guarantee each guest a minimum of 2 Mountain Expert sessions per week. You may be able to book more throughout the week, depending on availability.
We aim to run at least 1 session a day for Mountain Collection hotel guests, and 2 or 3 a week for chalet hotel guests. Sessions can be run in the mornings or afternoons, so head to the Snow Brief on your first evening/morning in the resort and sign up for the sessions you fancy.
ROOM DESCRIPTIONS
With an air of sophisticated style, the 29 bedrooms and suites have an uncompromised level of detail, with colours and decoration which beautifully complement each other.
The variety of room choices is extensive to ensure your party is perfectly accommodated. Twins/doubles, premium, family rooms and suites comfortably sleep between 2 and 4 people, while 2 bedroom suites afford the space required by a larger party of up to 6. Some larger suites are split over 2 floors for an added layer of comfort throughout your stay.
All have a balcony with mountain views, full ensuite with shower or shower over bath and wc. A flat-screen TV has satellite channels and there's also free Wi-Fi, a mini-safe and a minibar. Guests in the suites also have use of a Nespresso coffee machine.
Children under 13 can receive a discount when sharing a room with at least two adults
Guaranteed adjacent rooms are available to pre-book on a selection of rooms. Prices start at just £15 per person, per week, but make sure you book these rooms early...
Local tourist taxes are payable by you when you check out of Hotel La Tovière. The charge is €5.28 per person per night for departures up to 31st December 2025, then €5.39 per person per night for the remainder of the season (correct as of June 2025).
NOTES
New arrival set-up - Val d’Isère has introduced a new arrival system to make getting in and out of the village smoother and safer.
Guests staying at Hotel & Spa Le Savoie and Hotel Ducs de Savoie will now hop off their coach at the brand-new La Daille bus station, about a 10-minute ski bus ride from the hotels.
