WHAT'S ON THEmenu
Welcome to the Hotel Ducs de Savoie. The hotel is a relaxed, central base that’s perfect for couples, friends and families. Just a short stroll from the Solaise Express and Olympique gondolas, you'll have 300km of pistes on your doorstep, with fast access to both the Solaise and Bellevarde ski areas - and beyond to La Daille and Tignes.
Step inside to a bright, minimalist reception area, where light wood and clean lines create a welcoming first impression. Off the reception, you’ll find a spacious restaurant and bar area, with modern furnishings. It’s a laid-back space to unwind, serving hearty meals that hit the spot after a day on the slopes.
The vibe here is all about comfort, simplicity, and the charm of the mountains. Tucked away on the lower ground floor, a cosy lounge with an open fire and colourful furniture offers a relaxed spot to chill after a day on the slopes.
There is free use of swimming pool, sauna, steam room and hot tub at the Hotel & Spa Le Savoie next door.
Val d’Isère is a snow-covered playground for the whole family. Whether you’re wrapping up a big day on the slopes or heading out for a mooch around town, everything’s within easy reach. With laid-back restaurants perfect for pizza nights, cosy cocktail spots for a grown-up treat, and chic little shops for those “just browsing” moments. Hotel Ducs de Savoie puts you right at the centre of it all - a welcoming base for snowy adventures and cosy evenings.
Get more from the mountain with our exclusive Mountain Expert service -
Anyone over 12 years of age and a good blue or red run skier or snowboarder, our Mountain Experts will guide you around the slopes, whilst making you a more confident skier or snowboarder at the same time. All children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian when taking part in these sessions.
Each Mountain Expert session lasts around 2 hours, and we guarantee each guest a minimum of 2 Mountain Expert sessions per week. You may be able to book more throughout the week, depending on availability.
We aim to run at least 1 session a day for Mountain Collection hotel guests, and 2 or 3 a week for chalet hotel guests. Sessions can be run in the mornings or afternoons, so head to the Snow Brief on your first evening/morning in the resort and sign up for the sessions you fancy.
